What Is Used In Stage 1 Paint Correction?


All stage of paint correction always involves three factors in general.

1 : Selection Of Machine Polishers

2 : Selection of Buffing Pads

3 : Selection Of Compounds, Polishes And Car Paint Sealers


Stage one paint correction often involves the softer selection of machines, buffing pads and polishes as opposed to tools chosen in stage 2 or 3. In a stage one paint correction treatment, the most common machine polisher will be a forced rotation / random orbital polisher.

This will usually commence with a forced rotation on a choice of pad and cutting compound.

The majority of times, it is always the choice of buffing pad that will determine the depth or strength of the correction process.

This combined together with the selection of cutting compound will determine the level of damage removed from paint surfaces and how deep the cut into the surface really goes.
