Integrity Extended Warranty Review
Looking at purchasing an Integrity warranty cover or extended warranties? I personally purchased Integrity warranty car care cover and found out the hard way when it comes to integrity extended warranty that I thought I would write an Integrity warranty review of my own experience. I will also make sure this Integrity warranty review lands right beneath their own brand or possibly above their own brand as one of the highest ever ranking integrity warranty reviews ever. Thanks to PK SEO Services near Sydney
There are plenty of review platforms on the web that you can write your own personal extended warranty review about the products you purchased like Product Review for instance where we already wrote a review about Integrity warranty cover on a previous claim. It is actually already ranking below Integrity warranty anyway but the issue with these platforms is that you are limited as to just how much you can express your own personal opinions and can not show the titles which can be attention grabbing.
Simple example would be that you can not have your title visible on the web, so we thought we would write our own review about Integrity warranty, SEO the shit out of it by investing shit sums of money in it to get it ranking and have it land right below Integrity warranty showing 5000 reasons not to buy Intergrity warranty.
Then thanks to the cost to do this, It will take 20000 reasons to take it down, so read Integrity warranty and enjoy. You had 20000 reasons to do the right thing by your client but failed to do so
When it comes to purchasing used vehicles, there is always that inherent thought in the back of your mind about buying extended car care warranty and let’s face facts here, the car dealer is always there to push that ever ” we care about your car care bullshit ” so here is some extended car warranty to ensure all you experience is care free motoring.
I am not into the car dealer perks but something tells me they get pretty handsome rewards for promoting car warranty sales. Explains why they are very reluctant to go through the entire contract with you and would just ” hastily ” have you sign on the dotted line to lock you in to that ” contractual abyss ” and take that 5000 bucks off you. Like taking candy from a baby huh ? Typical car dealer unethical behavior.
Extended Warranty In Australia
Having purchased many cars in my life I have had some great cars and I have had some lemons. Having the great cars is always the better bet as opposed to having the lemons. The lemons can often lead to some pretty expensive repairs coming out of your pocket so purchasing extended car warranty is kind of always in the back of your mind and can also be a hit and miss. The amount of terms and conditions can also vary between providers.
Lets face facts here, extended car warranty companies are similar to insurance companies. They are there to to make money and understandably so. They are not there because they have a love and passion for fixing every one else’s broken down shit boxes. No matter how much they advertise that they are there to help you.
It is the same with insurance companies. If you buy into the sales gimmicks, you are clearly asking for trouble when it comes to extended warranty offerings and placing a car warranty claim. Having said that, extended warranty if purchased also has a duty of care to also provide the services they also sell when it comes to Extended warranty claims in Australia.
They can’t just take your money and not deliver some warranty, this even applies to Integrity Warranty claims. Mind you, Integrity warranty in my own opinion is not the best and they clearly do not go over the contract at the dealers when signing on the dotted line.
It is a clear cut case of ” it is just standard warranty conditions provided you take care of the vehicle ” type stuff. Just sign the dotted line, pay the 5000 dollar fee and you are covered.
Are you ? Are you really covered ? I have already written a review on one of my past claims with Integrity car care . Having experienced a second encounter with Integrity car care and at a much higher financial loss as to their failure to cover my vehicle, I thought I would write my own Integrity warranty review right on my own site for all to see that buying Integrity car care warranty is not all its cracked up to be.
Australia has some pretty strict consumer laws when it comes to buying extended warranty in Australia from any warranty providers. It keeps the Bastards honest to ensure they do provide some cover. Having said that, there are loopholes which allows these extended warranty criminals to walk without paying up. Or they think they can.
Buying Extended Warranty For A Used Car
When buying extended warranty, it should be pointed out that no matter how excited you may be in the purchase cycle of your new vehicle, it is always best advised that if you are going to purchase extended warranty for a used car that you DO NOT SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE AT THE DEALERSHIP. It will come back to bite you on the ” ASS ”
My best advice is to take that extended warranty cover contract home and read it with all the time you need before you purchase the actual product offering.
The worst part is the dealer who will insist that it is only just standard terms and conditions that come with the warranty that you are purchasing or, you may just get the car dealer who sits there quiet, doesn’t say a word and just looks at you like a dumb fuck waiting for you to just sign the dotted line.
The best advice I can give, READ THE CONTRACT when it comes to your used car warranty, don’t sign right there and then. Mechanical breakdown insurance does not work they way you think it does.
Some Warranty Conditions That Do Apply
These extended warranties always have conditions tied to them and trust me when I tell you, they don’t always work in your favour. The use of the vehicle will affect your warranty,
- The Servicing Schedules, Who Is Only Authorised To Service It, ?
- What dollar figure Warranty Are you Receiving For The Sum Paid ?
- Partial warranty
- Full Warranty
- What Mechanical Parts Are Covered ?
- Also, Did You Know That They Do Not Always Fit New Factory Parts To Your Vehicle But Second Hand Parts ?
- Is Electrical Covered ?
- Is The Body Covered ? If So, Exactly What ? Rust, Components And So On.
- Did you know that wear and tear components are not always or usually covered ? Eg, Timing Belts, Timing Chains, Wear And Tear To Gear Boxes, Water Pumps, Alternators, Timing Chains, Braking Components. There is always an excuse to escape paying for these by most warranty companies.
Wherever warranty can save money, they will cut corners and do it. One claim which I had with my Mercedes, my warranty provider were going to fit second hand parts to my vehicle and if these parts caused damage to other components, I would not be covered for it. They would only cover the parts fitted, not the damage they would have caused. You can read the full warranty review here. This is why you do not sign the dotted line on purchase of a vehicle on the day
Extended Warranty Providers In Australia
In my own opinion, I can’t say extended warranty is a total bad experience. It does have its perks and can assist where you least expect it, but it can also let you down.
This all depends on the cover you purchase, how much you paid, and what came with that cover and what conditions you are covered under your mechanical breakdown insurance. Lets face it, that is what you are buying, mechanical breakdown insurance.
There are a range of extended warranty providers in Australia that can provide you with mechanical breakdown Insurance in your city. I take it most of these companies will live up to their service offerings when it comes to mechanical breakdown insurance and covering your vehicle.
I would highly recommend you check out the backgrounds and any possible reviews on these warranty companies before purchasing extended warranty. I say this for the simple reason that i was disadvantaged by Integrity warranty on two separate occasions and when I needed Integrity Warranty the most, they let me down but I will get to this in just ” ONE HOT MINUTE “
Listed below are just some of the extended warranty providers in Australia that you can research yourself before purchasing their product offerings, minus Integrity Warranty
- My Car Warranty
- Auto Auto
- Warranty Insurance
- Eric Insurance
- Car Broker
- Stratton Finance Vehicle Warranty
The warranty companies listed above are not companies I myself endorse. These are just some of the highest ranking extended warranty companies on the web currently. Integrity warranty is also one of them but I will not list them as one to look at because of my own negative experience with them
I have not had any experience with these warranty companies whatsoever so I can not really comment on their performance when it comes to extended warranty cover or extended warranty claims. These are there for your own perusal.
Again, do your research when it comes to buying extended warranty for a used vehicle and NEVER sign on the dotted line in front of the car dealer because of pressure to do so.
If you have purchased the vehicle, it is not going anywhere. One more day with your vehicle at the dealers is not going to hurt you because you need to go over an extended warranty cover offering. Take your time and read the extended warranty contract in full. Warranty cover is not bad, but if you do not know what you are purchasing, you could seriously be left out of pocket like I was.
I have always advocated that signing contracts should be clearly explained by the warranty provider similar to as say, prior to signing a banking loan contract. A bank manage will always go over a contract explaining each section before you signing what you are signing for. But NOOOOO, not extended warranty contracts. Just get the idiot car buyer to sign on the dotted line. This is where as a consumer you have every right to read the contract in full at your own leisure.
Integrity Extended Warranty. My Own Experience
I have had the pleasure of dealing with integrity a number of times and I must say they had always paid out but most times with some conditions, but, they paid. In certain circumstances, I had to pay out of my own pockets small balances but nothing that really hurt the back pocket. This was all part and parcel to their conditions. I know there are always conditions, but there are also serious warranty conditions that can leave you out of pocket considerably and Integrity extended Warranty are no different and did just that. Approximately 12K out of pocket.
Where my mistake lied with the purchase of my extended warranty service is that I did not read the full disclosure agreement before signing and like an idiot trusted the dealer not to be selling me extended warranty that did not service my needs for me. This is where I was at fault for purchasing Integrity extended warranty. I was sold what was back then to my knowledge the top cover at 5000 dollars for vehicle extended warranty. This is how it was explained.
I was not told by the dealer I was only covered for 8K. Who after having been informed of cover conditions to a max of 8K pays 5K to be insured for a maximum of 8K ? Only a monkey does. This is where if the buyer is informed of this, they won’t purchase warranty for such little insurance, so it is kept quiet. The only point that comes to mind is that the dealer must be receiving kick backs from selling these warranty products
In all my claims that I had lodged with Integrity Warranty, all claims were under the 8000 dollar max value unbeknownst to me of the max limit. This was a value I was not aware of, was not made clear to me by the car dealer and nor did Integrity extended warranty service follow up with after the purchase to enquire If I was happy with their product offering or, if I was clear of what I was covered for.
I purchased my Mercedes back in 2019 and blindly purchased Integrity Extended Warranty with it. You would think that not knowing anything about what Warranty has to offer that the warranty provider or car dealer would invest some time in explaining what you are receiving for what you are paying for. This is not the case. Although I had paid 5000 dollars for my cover, I was under the impression I was fully covered.
Was not so. I was actually only covered for a max of 8000 dollars per claim….” PEEEEERRRRR CLAAAAAIIIM ” ….That means that at any one time for any claim lodged, regardless of what the damage repair bill may be, the maximum warranty claim will only cover a max of 8000 dollars. I had numerous claims under that threshold which were honored, but not warranty claims of proportional size….like 20100.00 for instance for a blown engine
Three years on, My car lets go of an engine. It is discovered the previous owner did not run the correct fuel in it. That’s OK, just put another motor in it or rebuild the original one and warranty will cover it….You would think. Well not so.
When the vehicle was delivered to Euromaster Autohause car service at Artamon and the vehicle diagnosed, it was discovered that the motor had dropped two cylinders and running the wrong fuel from the previous owner was to blame.
Integrity Warranty Claim
Initially, I had contacted Integrity Warranty claims office and lodged the claim. They provided me with a work order number for my mechanic and that he could contact Integrity Warranty claims, provide the work order number and the claim would be covered. Integrity did honour the claim…up to 8000 dollars, not the full 20100.00 dollars. When I informed them I was not aware I was only covered for 8K and I objected to it, FIRST RESPONSE WAS….It’s in your terms and conditions.
Integrity Warranty Terms And Conditions
When it comes to contracts, there are always terms and condition which must be read prior to signing any contract. Terms and conditions must be suited to the individual and their personal requirement. If contracts are signed blindly, take it from me that every time you have a claim that is outside the scope of the warranty provider, you will be hit with the terms and conditions if the company you signed with refuses to pay out your claim.
It is the first subject they raise when you disagree with a claim being rejected…” IT IS IN YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU SIGNED THAT YOU AGREED TO IT ” …Did you agree to it when you signed it ? Of course not. The dealer just got you to sign the document under the proviso that it is just standard terms and conditions like any company.
Nothing to worry about. It is the most obvious underhanded tactic of deceiving the buyer to sign the document ” WITHOUT ” reading the terms and conditions. This applies with all, extended warranty companies and that of insurance companies. Car Dealers on the other hand do not always go through the contract. I am yet to come across one that does this.
On the purchase of my own vehicle, I was sold this warranty on the same grounds. The dealer did not advise to me to take the documents home to examine them in my own time.
Neither was there any after sales contact from Integrity to explain any important points about what I was covered for. I paid 5000 dollars to be covered for a maximum claim of 8000 dollars. How does paying 5000 dollars not cover you for 20100.00 dollars warranty claim ?
Simple !! I didn’t read the terms and conditions. Is paying 5000 dollars worth only covering 8000 dollars ? Of course not
These were the first words muttered to me by the Integrity Warranty staff. ” IT’S WHAT YOU SIGNED FOR, IT IS IN YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS ” Every time without fail. Even with claims that would not even amount to the maximum of 8000 dollars, Integrity Warranty would attempt to cut back on the costs either by not paying for certain wear and tear items, or even attempting to fit second hand parts on the vehicle.
Just sign on the dotted line and all will be taken care of. The dealer did not go through the warranty contract explaining it paragraph by paragraph but you are expected to sign in the office right at that particular time that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of your new found warranty cover much to your surprise that you are not covered as much as you thought you were.
It’s not that there is an uncomfortable atmosphere that you are wasting time reading a contract. Just sign the damn document and be on your way 5000 dollars lighter and when you need big cover on a claim, Integrity Warranty can read you the terms and conditions you paid 5000 dollars for, rather than your repairs.
On my communications with Integrity Warranty, they accomplished two facets of their services very quickly.
- Were Very Quick To Read Their Terms And Conditions over the phone
- Were Very Quick To Blame It On The Dealer
I explained To Integrity Warranty that I still felt they were liable for not supporting the cover I thought I had paid for and even though I had paid 5K to cover 8K, I still would have paid a little more to obtain unlimited cover if it was available. Their only response from their ” Investigation Team ” Makes me laugh ! was again….” It’s in your terms and conditions that you agreed to ” …No understanding, no acknowledging, no customer support….Just their terms and conditions.
This was not made clear during the purchase period that I was only covered for 8K instead of being fully covered. I either would not have purchased such a preposterous agreement or would have paid extra to obtain unlimited cover if it were available.
All up for me this was 20000 reasons not to buy Extended Warranty from Integrity Extended Warranty services. Can not comment for other warranty companies but never again Integrity warranty will ever be purchased on any vehicle I have intentions on purchasing.
It also strikes me as no surprise that when they read this review right below their own positioning on Google, they will be in touch with me like the typical warranty company they are to tear it down as it shows their true colours.
Only problem is they are going to have to give me 20000 reasons to take it down. You see, any company only ever acts after a bad review is written. I can not understand for the life of me why they can not satisfy their customer requirements before any review is written.
Looking at Integrity Warranty for your vehicle cover ? Take my advice and keep looking. 20000 reasons says so. At the end of this whole farcicle experience, I was out of pocket 12K. Thank you integrity…for nothing. There is no integrity about this company.
Thanks for reading this post and hopefully you will have taken some serious insight of what can transpire by failing to follow common sense when it comes to signing extended warranty documents. Always examine all documents before signing. I from now on certainly will be
